Africaribbean Trade and Investment Forum 2022
IMBL attended Africaribbean Trade and Investment Forum 2022 in Barbados.
Afreximbank, in collaboration with the Barbados government, held an Africa-Caribbean Trade and Investment Forum in Barbados from 1-3 September 2022. The main goal of the Africa-Caribbean Trade and Investment Forum (ACTIF) was to provide a platform for a strategic partnership between the business communities in Africa and the CARICOM Region, with the objective of fostering bilateral cooperation and engagement in trade, investment, technology transfer, innovation, tourism, and other services. The Forum was also used as a vehicle to actively promote trade and investment opportunities among people of the Caribbean, Africa, and the wider diaspora, which contributed to the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (AfCFTA) and the Caribbean trade agenda.
